Ferguson Industrial is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Pump Repair Technician. If you have a love of working on rotating equipment and providing a great product, coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!

Onsite Location: Norfolk, VA

Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30AM – 4:30PM

Pay starting at $20 an hour! Pay can increase depending on experience!

Responsibilities

As a Rotating Equipment/Pump Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the following, including, but not limited to:

Tear down of equipment and disassembly reports; this includes detailed measurement checks and confirmation.Skilled measurements using micrometers and gauge, reporting to the thousandth of an inch.Follow all established standard operating procedures for repairs including maintaining a safe and organized workspace and observing necessary safety precautions during assembly, testing, storage, and transfer of product.Follow all proper procedures for set up, use and maintenance of tools and equipment in the repair center.Courteous interaction and communication with inside and outside sales, management, and warehouse personnelProfessional interaction with customers when addressing questions and concerns about repairs.Ability to troubleshoot pump performance issues, in house and in the field, to perform necessary work and repairs.

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
