Pump Room Maintenance Lead

The Pump Room Maintenance Team Leader leads our pump room maintenance team to ensure reliability and performance of our site’s industrial mechanical systems; specifically: chillers, compressor systems, pumps, and water systems. They implement TPM and lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency & strengthen operations of pump room systems. This position also provides professional leadership, training, and guidance to team members. You Will

Report food safety issues and initiate corrective actionsLead associates to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs Ensure efficient and effective maintenance and project workServe as a 24/7 emergency contact in the facilityContinually measure & assess pump room systems, including compressors, chillers & water pumps, identifying both current & potential issues & opportunitiesDevelop project proposals to improve systems’ efficiency, reliability & overall performance, including refurbishment or replacement, project requirements & budget estimatesEstablish project plans & schedules and oversee project workflow to ensure project delivery achieves time, quality & budget objectivesManage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with stakeholders, vendors & techniciansMaintain appropriate documentation, recordkeeping & reportingUphold & contribute to our safety culture as one of America's Safest Companies Ensure team members practice safe work habits by following and enforcing all safety rules & policiesEnsure maintenance work is performed in accordance with high standardsEnsure the Plant’s Quality Policy, Operational Procedures and high production standards are maintained at all timesWork with quality team to resolve quality issues and ensure products are in accordance with customer specificationsTrain, coach, and counsel team membersResolve associate issues and concernsWork with production and engineering to resolve machinery and equipment problemsMonitor downtime trends, report on production performance, and initiate improvementsAdjust staffing levels as neededLead regular associate communication meetingsFollow and enforce all company rules and policiesHave authority to place product on hold and shut machines downPerform other duties as assigned
 

You Have

Professional attitude, proactive, resourceful & highly motivated to succeed in a high output environmentBachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education & experienceHVAC Universal CertificationKnowledge of industrial mechanical systems, including HVAC chillers, compressors, pumps, and water systems in a manufacturing operationExperience maintaining medium/large commercial & institutional HVAC systems, inclusive of industrial compressors, chillers & pump applicationsDemonstrated project management skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCritical thinking & exceptional problem-solving skillsSupervisory experience and other leadership experience and skillsExcellent inter-personal and communication skillsFamiliarity with computer applications and strong mathematical and analytical skillsAbility to work on call evenings, weekends, and holidays

$55,000 - 70,000 (SNE) based on skills, experience, education, and qualificationsPAP Bonus Program Potential
