Job Description: As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery (CNC Punch Press & CNC Turret) to ensure the production of high-quality components for emergency vehicles. You will work closely with other team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate CNC punch press and CNC turret.Perform machine setup and changeovers.Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the correct machine settings.Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or issues and make necessary adjustments.Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any mechanical or technical issues.Maintain accurate records of production and machine maintenance activities.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Qualifications:
Experience in machine operation.Proficiency in operating CNC punch press and CNC turret.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.Strong understanding of CNC machinery and equipment maintenance.Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.Physical stamina and strength to handle materials and operate machinery.Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to perform machine setup and changeovers.Why Work Here?There is a clear path for career advancement from Level 1 to Master level roles, with pay raises at each level.
