Punch Press Setup Operator

Job Summary:

Assemble, install, and align dies in presses, ensuring proper setup, operation, and maintenance for optimal production output.

Job Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Experience in setting up machines for production Experience with sharpening dies and punches Familiarity with operating machinery Ability to inspect and adjust workpieces to meet specifications

Preferred Skills:

Experience in training and overseeing machine operators

Job Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, and align dies in presses according to specifications Set up machines for optimal production output Sharpen dies and punches as needed Position workpieces using fixtures or stops on machine bed or die Verify hand guards at the beginning of each shift and for new setups Start the press and monitor operations for any misalignment or malfunctions Operate machines as required Inspect workpieces to ensure they meet specifications and make adjustments as needed Clean and lubricate machines regularly Train and oversee machine operators

Pay Details: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
