Purpose of the position

Act as Purchaser for Equipment Solutions Division New Sales and Conversion contracts, multiple product lines. Contract team member responsible for all purchase matters (P/O, budget, planning, deliveries)

Main tasks and responsibilities

●    Make purchase decisions following  MacGregor Purchase Policy.
●    Responsibility to perform purchase decisions for specified projects/contracts. Major purchases to be coordinated through Sourcing Manager and Director Purchase.
●    Prepare purchase planning and liaise with CM regarding input to the overall contract program.
●    Responsible for all contract related purchase deliveries 
●    Approve/check invoices according to Company policy/rules 
●    Responsible for material costs in each contract and providing accurate input to CMs Project Control Sheet.
●    Monitor the status of subcontractors including financial status and report to Production Control if considered necessary.
●    Act as a purchasing responsible in the contract team and attend Contract Follow up meeting
●    Resolving vendor nonconformities including financial settlement and input to CM to resolve customer claims.
●    Monitor supplier and S&SC performance during the contract and provide analysis during closeout meetings.
●    Responsibility for distributing drawings and obtaining “as built” drawings and class documentation from subcontractors.
●    Coordinate FATs and inspections with the Production Control Department.
 

What you’ll need to succeed

1. Education: 
●    Second-degree education


2. Experience:
●    2 years of experience working in projects and/or purchaser experience.


3. Competencies:
●    Able to adapt to new techniques and keen to increase knowledge.
●    Strong customer focus.
●    Comfortable working in an international environment and in virtual teams.
●    Ability to travel.
●    Good supplier negotiation skills
●    Experience working with ERP systems.
