Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Purchaser in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing projects, overseeing purchasing procedures, and maintaining fruitful relationships with our vendors. This role is crucial to our operations, as you will also be responsible for logistics and inventory management. Responsibilities: • Overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion • Handling purchasing tasks for various events such as trade shows, including setup • Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, including negotiation of rates • Managing all aspects of logistics and distribution, ensuring smooth transition of goods • Maintaining inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels are always maintained • Processing payment vouchers and submitting invoices in a timely manner • Communicating effectively with clients, vendors, and freight forwarders on a daily basis • Using your negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing for logistics • Utilizing your accounting skills to ensure accuracy in all buying processes and purchase orders. If you are interested in hearing more about this opportunity, please email Janet.Silva@roberthalfcom or call 786-393-4588 Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Purchaser or similar role. • Proficiency in accounting functions, including budgeting and financial analysis. • Strong knowledge of buying processes, including sourcing, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Proven ability to manage purchase orders, including preparation, review, and tracking. • Exceptional negotiation skills, particularly in relation to pricing and contract terms. • Experience in logistics and distribution, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. • Ability to manage and coordinate projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
