Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Purchasing Agent. The role involves managing the procurement of fabrics and goods, maintaining meticulous records and interacting with both vendors and clients. The job function is pivotal within the industry. Responsibilities: • Oversee the purchasing of fabrics and goods from our manufacturer • Ensure efficient tracking of purchase orders using Microsoft Excel • Enter and update purchase orders in Excel with precision • Handle communication with vendors about the status of purchase orders • Manage client queries via phone or email effectively • Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP solutions for various tasks • Monitor and manage accounts payable • Participate in budget processes and buying processes • Use software like Epicor, Great Plains, and About Time for various accounting functions Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Experience with Epicor software • Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning • Knowledge of ERP Solutions • Ability to use Great Plains (GPAC) • Experience with About Time software • Understanding of Accounting Functions • Competency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) • Experience with Budget Processes • Understanding of Buying Processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
