Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Purchasing Agent located in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. This role entails strategic sourcing and buying operations for our centralized team, with the flexibility of reporting to our office for three days a week and working remotely for the remaining two days. Responsibilities: • Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions for efficient management of buying processes. • Assist in strategic sourcing operations and play a crucial role in our centralized contracting team. • Maintain and manage records using Great Plains (GPAC) and Epicor. • Oversee accounting functions and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded. • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) duties and ensure timely payments. • Monitor and manage budget processes, ensuring financial efficiency. • Employ 'About Time' for time management and productivity enhancement. • Aid in the establishment and implementation of buying processes. • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all purchase orders and contracts.
