We are looking for motivated individuals to join our dynamic Purchasing Team. This is an entry-level position ideal for those with a passion for organization and efficiency. You will be responsible for supporting the team by tracking and recording purchase orders, researching materials and pricing, and ensuring the accuracy of all orders.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing of materials.Assist with creating and processing purchase orders in alignment with procurement procedures.Verify order accuracy, including product specifications, quantities, and pricing.Stay up-to-date with market trends, new products, and potential suppliers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and compliance to ensure smooth procurement operations.Resolve discrepancies or issues related to orders promptly.Keep abreast of relevant regulations and best practices in procurement.Provide regular updates on the status of orders and address potential issues proactively.Qualifications:
Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.1st shift availability (5 AM - 1 PM OR 6 AM - 2 PM).Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.Ability to work with vendors and manage material orders.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
