We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing and Warehouse Supervisor to oversee production purchasing, shipping, and receiving operations. This role will manage the supply chain for our production line, including the Military line, and supervise a team of 3-4 employees in the shipping and receiving department.We are open to considering recent college graduates for this role. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee purchasing for production needs, including managing Purchase Orders (POs) with 46 suppliers.Track and manage incoming shipments via Echo Logistics to ensure timely delivery.Supervise shipping and receiving operations, ensuring smooth workflow for 3-4 employees.Operate a forklift as needed to cover staff absences.Maintain and manage the company Purchasing Card (P-card) for authorized transactions.Request Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) for Red Tag parts and handle replacement credits.Track and maintain monthly spreadsheets, including:Tire consignment reconciliation at the end of the month.Castings inventory from NORCA.Check paint and other critical inventory items daily to ensure continuous supply.Monitor daily inventory for key consumables, including acetone, hydraulic oil, diesel fuel, argon, oxygen, propane, propylene, and welding wire, and manage trash and scrap pickups.Negotiate with suppliers and communicate effectively to ensure favorable terms and smooth operations.Manage overall warehouse operations, ensuring safety, organization, and compliance with company standards.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field.0-3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or warehouse management.Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.Experience with operating a forklift and managing shipping/receiving teams.Proficiency in maintaining and analyzing spreadsheets for inventory tracking and reconciliation.Target Compensation: $26.00/hr. - $31.00/hr.
