Job Title: Purchasing (Clerk) - Purchasing\n

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt\n

Hourly Wage Range: $18.00-$22.00\n

Summary: Performs a range of data management duties including running reports, creating spreadsheets, gathering data, etc. This position also relieves manager of clerical work and minor administrative and business details by performing the following duties.\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n\nEnsures timely and accurate documentation of materials and goods received.\nWork with accounting on invoice and payment issues.\nProvides Logistical Support for the Purchasing Department with some time each day spent in the Plant gathering data for reports.\nWork with suppliers on invoice and payment issues.\nResponsible for completing physical inventories, cycle counts, random audits and reconciliations\nResearch and reconcile product discrepancies\/variances of over\/under amounts and damaged products\nWork with receiving personnel to ensure proper rotation and location of all inventory\nReceiving all incoming deliveries into Navision same day delivered\nPerforms a variety of clerical duties including data entry and maintenance of electronic files and records\nReconciling orders in the system\n\n

Qualifications\n\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)\nFamiliarity with manufacturing industry a plus\nStrong attention to detail\nOrganization skills\nAbility to prioritize\nClear verbal and written communication skills\nMust live the Champion Operating Principles\n\n

Education and\/or Experience\n

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to two years directly relevant job experience.\n
