Job Description

Our Supply Chain organization is looking for a Purchasing Clerk to support the purchasing of direct and indirect goods/services. This role requires a high level of attention to detail during the procurement and receiving process, maintaining inventory levels, and keeping accurate documentation.

ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative and clerical support to the department.Create and issue purchase orders and other documents.Work with suppliers to gather data, specifications, and prices for goods and services.Track incoming deliveries and follow up with suppliers.Reconcile inventory counts and invoices.Handle shipping and receiving materials.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsAdministrative supportPurchase order managementDelivery managementPurchasing and procurement experienceSupply Chain experienceMultitaskingOrganizational and planning skillsTechnical skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree or equivalent combination of work experience and coursework preferred0-2+ years in a clerical or Supply Chain environmentExperience with Dynamics Navision 2017 is a plusWork Environment

This role is onsite at the Glen Burnie location and reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with flexibility for an 8-4, 7-3, or 9-5 shift. The expectation is to be onsite full time. The work environment is laid back with a family-type culture, including amenities like a ping pong table in the office. Benefits include 4 weeks of vacation after 90 days, 401(k) matching up to 6% in every pay period, and great health, dental, and vision benefits.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25
