Start your new career as a Purchasing Clerk with MAU at our client in Covington, GA. As a Purchasing Clerk, you will manage purchase orders, maintain procurement records, update SAP systems, and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate inventory tracking and efficient purchasing operations.
What We Offer: Pay of $17.50/hour Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Health benefits, including telehealth medical services What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or associate’s degree required 1+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel Experience with Office 365 is preferred; familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus Ability to read and interpret invoices, reports, and other purchasing documents Capable of responding effectively to common inquiries or complaints from vendors and employees Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages What You’ll Do as a Purchasing Clerk: Create purchase orders (POs) based on purchase requisitions Receive products and update entries in SAP systems Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities Generate and distribute weekly open PO reports Enter order and receiving details, including vendor information, quantities, and prices, into internal databases Maintain up-to-date records of purchased products, delivery schedules, and invoices Coordinate with warehouse staff to verify receiving quantities and ensure proper storage Perform receiving entries in SAP to maintain accurate inventory tracking
