All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Days **Shift** : Full time; Varied Shifts Monday - Sunday **Location:** 7727 LAKE UNDERHILL ROAD, Orlando, 32822 **_The community you’ll be caring for:_** + AdventHealth East Orlando, a 265-bed community hospital, has been serving East Orlando residents since 1941 as an innovative local leader that fills a vital need in a fast-growing area + A recent 200,000 square-foot expansion project upgraded the hospital to 265 beds, with a spacious patient tower and 80 new private rooms designed to enhance the holistic care experience + Annual number of emergency cases: 89,018 **You Will Be Responsible For:** + Performs accurate product inventory prior to placing orders. + Places food and supplies orders with approved vendors in accordance with NS guidelines, using the CBORD computer program. + Receives deliveries, monitors and tracks food temperatures of perishables, and stores items promptly in order to maintain food safety according to HACCP guidelines. + Communicates with staff to avoid shortages and ensure adequate stock is available for needs in all areas of the department; takes immediate action when shortages occur; offers appropriate substitutions. + Communicates with FPC as needed to resolve back orders, shortages; follows correct procedure for additional product orders; promptly communicates to area leadership and staff issues which may affect production and service. + Maintains accurate records and processes invoices according to NS guidelines; submits to FPC in timely manner for payment. + Communicates with vendors on product and delivery issues, including quality, price, and product errors. Coordinates the routine purchasing for all food and supplies. Responsible for monitoring all resources and maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Receives all orders in accordance with HACCP principles. Communicates with staff to avoid shortages and ensure adequate inventory; takes immediate action when shortages occur. Maintains safety and sanitation standards in storage areas; labels, dates, and rotates stock. Keeps accurate records and processes all invoices according to guidelines.
