Purchasing Coordinator
**Job Title:** Purchasing Coordinator **Location:** Arlington, TX **Pay Rate:** $55-60k Permanent **Position Summary** We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Purchasing Coordinator** to support our procurement and supply chain operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ordering supplies and equipment in line with business needs, maintaining accurate purchasing records, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Your ability to analyze costs, evaluate vendor offers, and support inventory planning will directly contribute to the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our operations. **Key Responsibilities** + Monitor inventory levels and identify purchasing needs + Research and evaluate new vendors and suppliers + Track and manage orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery + Update internal systems with order information, including dates, vendors, quantities, and pricing + Conduct market research and analyze pricing trends + Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms + Prepare and present cost analyses and purchasing reports + Maintain up-to-date records of invoices, purchase orders, and supplier contracts + Collaborate with warehouse teams to confirm the quality and condition of incoming deliveries + Follow up on orders to confirm receipt or modify as necessary **Requirements & Qualifications** + Previous experience as a Purchasing Assistant or in a similar procurement support role + Strong understanding of supply chain procedures and inventory management + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with purchasing/procurement software + Strong organizational and record-keeping skills + Ability to conduct vendor research and pricing analysis + Excellent negotiation and communication abilities + High attention to detail and time management + Must have a valid driver’s license + Must be able to obtain equipment certification for in-plant operations + Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening + **Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field** **Preferred Skills** + Purchasing Software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) + Supply Chain & Vendor Management + Market Research & Cost Analysis + Contract and Invoice Management + Negotiation & Price Evaluation + MS Excel (Advanced Functions) **Pay Details:** $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
