Responsibilities:

Proactively delivery tracking.Plan regular check-ins with the suppliers to discuss the status of the orders and ensure delivery of material as promised date.Follow up with the due delivery dates.Update orders with confirmed delivery times from vendorsThis position requires daily onsite interaction with internal and external customers.Maintain up-to-date purchasing records.Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary materials.Establish strong relationships with coworkers.

Education, Experience & Skills Required:

Polytechnic Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent (undergraduate) or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.1 – 3 years of professional purchase experience requiredExcellent communication skills with a service-oriented attitudeFlexible and proactive work attitude with a strong ability to set prioritiesAbility to devise concepts and implement them in practiceProduction-oriented and quality-conscious attitude with strong analytical skillsExcellent command of the English language in words and writing.Basic to Intermediate Excel Skills preferredExperience with Oracle &/or SAP (or other ERP systems)Able to show situational adaptability and resourcefulnessStrong ability to manage daily workload
