Purchasing Intern
Team Overview
Based in Belén Heredia, the purchasing Intern will be supporting the timely supply of goods and services for all areas of the company. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Intern is responsible for:
1. Ensuring control of due dates as well as updates and terms & conditions of contracts with suppliers.
2. Supporting, coordinating and negotiating the contracting of activities related to events, marketing and corporate visits.
3. Controlling the management and negotiating with travel service providers (Taxis, hotel, etc. corporate travel management).
4. Monitoring and controlling the arrival of raw materials and goods and services.
5. Helping and debugging the balances of accounting provisions in docuclass.
6. Ensuring the creation of purchasing suppliers through the request and documentary management of supplier creation.
7. Carry out and validate the acquisitions and contracting of services for all minor contracts (Evaluate at least three suppliers before making a purchase decision).
8. Keep the prices and rates of conventional destinations up to date.
9. Coordinate and supervise with the General Warehouse coordinator the delivery/reception of acquired materials.
10.Keep the price database of supplies and services up to date.
11. Continuously seek the best price while maintaining the quality requested by the Marketing-HR-Security area.
Job responsibilities:
The Analyst Intern of Purchases is responsible at giving support to the acquisition of goods and services necessary for the company's operation, as well as the documentation management for creating suppliers and the legal management of supplier contracts in CR. This position involves coordinating and negotiating with suppliers and performing administrative activities related to the purchasing process.
Who are we looking for?
