Hourly Pay Rate: $23-$26
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the Director with the software applications, documents, and financial information as it relates to the Purchasing Department. Responsible for Time and Attendance approvals of direct reports. New vendor set up and credit application process. Annual vendor performance review. Negotiate pricing, solicit RFQ’s and initiates contracts according to Business Office Procedures. Assists Director in conducting policy and procedure training to new managers as it relates to the Business Office. Cell phone management to include obtaining approvals, distribution, training and plan and usage review. Assignment of tasks to direct reports. Order processing. Acts in supervisory capacity in the event the Director or AVP is not available to make critical decisions. Vendor database management. Complies with all agency policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma and 5 years full time purchasing and supervisory experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the supervision and professional development of the Purchasing Personnel.
