Purchasing Manager

In this position... 

As the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for a direct purchasing team for the FCSD purchasing organization.  In this role, you will prioritize workload to drive metric performance, ensure team development and assessment, lead negotiations, support critical supply issues, and cultivate supplier relationships.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process and cost improvements, support supplier management strategies, and ensure compliance to our standards.

You'll have... 

Minimum

Bachelor’s degree 6+ years Purchasing experience.  Established and successful track record of managing complex categories and delivery optimized cost solutions. Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives and managing cross-functional projects. Experience with purchasing tools and software; Experience with compliance tools and management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent project management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for further process and cost optimization.
