Your key focus in this position is to coordinate the purchasing activity for goods, materials and or services within company policy, procedures and within authorised expenditure limits. This role is required to establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure on time delivery of products meets the company requirements.
What you will be doing:
Coordinate purchasing of goods, materials or services within company policy, procedures and authorised expenditure.Ensure that all goods, materials and services are procured in accordance with specified requirements as to quantity, quality, by the specified date.Manage the weekly ordering process to ensure that orders are placed in accordance with Port requirements.Prepare, approve and enter purchase orders into our Airline Catering system.Ensure that all goods ordered are delivered according to the purchase order due dates in our ERP system, overdue purchase orders and expedite where required.Work closely with Port Managers to ensure that delivery / quality targets are met.Administrate records and files for efficient operation.Perform additional duties for the Head of Procurement/ Category Managers as required.About you:
Approximately 3 years’ experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain environment within food service/ hospitality.Food and Beverage industry background preferred.Experience in FMCG or Catering industries would be highly regarded.Possess proficiency with EXCEL, WORD & PowerPoint.Experience with an ERP system is highly desirable.Well-developed interpersonal skills (written and verbal).Tertiary education is highly desirable.If you want to be part of a team that helps make travel and culinary memories, join us!
