From your PASSION to ours
The Purchasing Specialist Manages inventory levels and purchases all PPE and GMP items for the Nampa site. Manages the outside uniform contract, service processes and rentals, and maintains a locker log database. Will contribute to overall site, safety and uniform savings. Maintains the standardization list by working with corporate purchasing to process price contract updates. Reviews minimum/maximum quantities and adjust for the fluctuation based off seasonal demand. Manages the budget for uniforms, janitorial suppliers and all PPE GMP resources, and ensure compliance with plant and corporate safety requirements.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
. Manages uniform needs and resolves quality deviations and pricing discrepancies.
. Manages inventory and purchases all PPE and GMP inventoried and non-inventoried items.
. Negotiate with vendors to set the best possible price in conjunction with plant management.
. Manages an accurate locker database and manages locker audits.
. Assign lockers and proper PPE for new hires.
· Provide support on other projects as needed, and accomplish all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
· Work with other departments to achieve overall company objectives.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
Education
· Associate’s degree preferred
Experience
· One year of experience in purchasing preferred
. Additional experience with inventory or warehouse management preferred
Specialized Knowledge
. Should have some knowledge of inventory and procurement related software.
. Strong knowledge of computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP preferred.
. Experience with inventory management, minimum / maximum, demand planning and forecasting.
Skills / Abilities
. Ability to quickly define problems and make quick and accurate decisions.
. Mathematical, analytical and problems-solving mindset.
· Strong negotiation tactics.
· Team player and multi cross functional driven.
· Bilingual preferred, but not required.
