Description Direct procurement for parts for machining production Parts for aviation predominately, servicing defense and commercial sectors Placing purchase orders, sourcing, updating the ERP system (JobBOSS), and keeping excel sheets up to date Contacting vendors (both building and maintaining that relationship) via phone calls, emails and in-person Skills Purchasing, microsoft excel, erp, manufacturing environment, Purchase order, strategic sourcing, jobboss, quantum, aviation Top Skills Details Purchasing,microsoft excel,erp,manufacturing environment,Purchase order,strategic sourcing Additional Skills & Qualifications If a candidate knows Quantum or JobBOSS they are way ahead of the game, and will know how to work their system Any other ERP system experience can work, but Quantum or JobBOSS preferred Microsoft Office Suite Experience (Predominately Outlook and Excel) Self-starting attitude - not afraid to make decisions on their own, but also knowing when to ask for help This person NEEDS to be familiar with drawings/blueprints and able to read them - As orders come in with part schematics, the buyers need to be able to read them and understand what size and type of material they need to order - Aviation experience is a huge plus, but any kind of manufacturing/machining that entails reading blueprints would be sufficient as well Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
