Purchasing Supervisor - São Caetano do Sul/SP
**Job Description** **Hybrid:** for this position is required to be on site 3x/week at São Caetano do Sul plant **What you will do (responsabilities):** As a supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the overall procurement activities, development of sourcing strategy, negotiation of contracts and execution of budget. As a leader, you will provide technical guidance to the team for successful execution of the activities and strategies. You will take lead on the development of new products, processes, standards, or operational plans. This position also provides support for the organization's business strategies with a direct impact on business and function overall results. + Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan + Lead business plan/tactics to reach overall global targets on a day-to-day basis + Oversee, monitor and coach employees aiming high performance + Collaborate with CCA Engineering, Marketing, Supply chain and other internal partners to reduce back orders, increase availability, drive cost reductions and bring innovation/new business models in order to improve company overall profitability + Analyze and apply appropriate tools, i.e. cost models, benchmarking, global competitive sourcing, value chain analysis, supplier negotiations, technical cost reduction, part/system reuse, etc. + Handle supplier relationships and operational issues Skills: + **Negotiation Skills** : Ability to negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers effectively. + **Analytical Skills** : Proficiency in analyzing market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures. + **Project Management** : Capability to manage multiple projects and timelines efficiently. + **Strategic Thinking** : Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies aligned with business goals. + **Supplier Relationship Management** : Skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. + **Problem-Solving Skills** : Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions quickly. **Additional Job Description** **Your skills and abilities (required qualifications):** + Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Engineering or Similar. + Advanced or Fluent English. + Availability to work in São Caetano do Sul. **What Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preference Qualifications):** + Spanish + Purchasing experience + Leadership experience + Knowledge of the aftersales market + Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations related to aftersales and accessories. **About GM** Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all. **Why Join Us** We aspire to be the most inclusive company in the world.
