Pure Barre Parrish is a locally-owned and women-owned franchise. The teacher role is critical to the success of the studio.  The teacher ensures safe, effective Pure Barre instruction in accordance with all Pure Barre guidelines and expectations while making the workout fun.   QUALIFICATIONS: * Enthusiastic, confident and pleasant personality * Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others * Ability and desire to build member relationships through outstanding customer service * Dependable with a strong work ethic - natural willingness to go above and beyond to support a team * A team player * Confidence to energetically command a room of 22 people * Musicality - ability to keep rhythm and count to beat of music * Background in dance, fitness, cheerleading or barre concept (ideal but not required) * All teachers are required to complete a 4-day training at one of our corporate training centers, as well as significant 'at home' study and preparation for certification before being eligible to teach classes. * Minimum one-year or 250 class commitment to teaching required before attending 4-day training. * Must complete an approved CPR class   RESPONSIBILITIES: * Availability to teach a minimum of 5 classes per week (classes are offered early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays) * Diligent planning and preparation before each class, including study of choreography and class planning prior to each class, as well as learning full choreography changes on a quarterly basis * Willingness to keep up to date with certification through Pure Barre weekly teacher calls and by taking class regularly * Maintain safety with the members including providing modifications as needed * Review satisfaction feedback with the Lead Teacher and adjust accordingly * Attend monthly team meetings * Assist with keeping the studio clean and tidy * Ability to lift hand weights and maintain high-energy for 50-minute class * Learn additional class formats as needed by the studio COMPENSATION & PERKS: * This position offers a competitive class rate * Training and advancement opportunities * Complimentary Pure Barre membership while employed * Employee retail discounts Pure Barre Parrish is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
