Job Description:
As a Purifications Scientist within the Reagent Production Operations, you will perform antibody (monoclonal and polyclonal) purification activities utilizing chromatography. This role involves working in a cleanroom environment, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensuring quality guidelines are met. You will conduct in-process sampling and testing during production, perform out of specification (OOS) testing, and document test results in strict compliance with GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform antibody purification activities using chromatography
+ Prepare buffers
+ Work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to gowning procedures
+ Follow clearly defined SOPs and scientific methods
+ Apply basic analytical skills and operational processes to perform tasks
+ Conduct in-process sampling and testing using analytical laboratory instruments
+ Perform OOS testing as necessary
+ Document test results in accordance with GMP standards
+ Organize instrument calibration and maintenance logbook
+ Perform moderate to complex test methods by following written procedures
+ Conduct cell culture runs, inoculations, harvests, and preparation for the following day
Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Master's degree is also acceptable)
+ 1+ years of industry experience working in a regulated environment
+ 1+ years of experience running HPLC/FPLC/UPLC
+ Experience handling large-scale mammalian cell cultures (plus but not required)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85
