Summary: The Purview Audit Analyst is responsible for managing and executing internal audits and reports using Microsoft Purview tools to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. This role involves business analysis and auditing of data, identifying potential risks, and recommending improvements to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of information. Key Responsibilities: * Audit Execution: Conduct comprehensive audits using Microsoft Purview to assess compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and data governance standards * Data Analysis: Analyze data sources to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that could indicate potential compliance issues or risks * Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommendations for corrective actions * Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks related to data privacy, security, and compliance, and suggest mitigative strategies * Policy Review: Review and assess the effectiveness of current compliance policies and procedures, and recommend updates as necessary * Collaboration: Work closely with IT, HR, Legal, and other departments to ensure comprehensive audit coverage and effective resolution of identified issues * Training and Support: Provide training and support to relevant stakeholders on compliance requirements and the effective use of Microsoft Purview tools * Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in data governance, privacy, and compliance to continuously improve audit processes
