As a Senior Product Associate in for Business to Consumer (B2C) payments, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience Holistically understand core business problems and requirements from clients in order to deliver efficient and useful solutions Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development Works directly with engineering and other internal teams to build and deliver the products Pivots opportunities based on new information and market opportunities Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including Technology, Sales, Compliance, Legal, and Risk Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor’s degree required with 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy Working experience with Visa OCT and Mastercard Send etc Knowledge of emerging technologies as well as exposure to design thinking Work well with cross-functional partners and in a matrix environment including partnering with Product, Sales, Analytics and Design teams to recognize key growth areas for the business and emerging client needs Passion for creatively solving problems and an entrepreneurial spirit Awareness of financial services and regulatory framework Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization Communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written) Work well in cross-functional team, and coach and development of other team members Working experience with alternative payment rails like Visa OCT, Mastercard Send, Zelle, and PayPal etc.
