PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recognize and report Adverse Events using the appropriate formsData entry of event information, MedDRA codding and pertinent details.Case Quality Control CheckReconciliation of event reportsLiterature search and reviewRegulatory IntelligenceDevelop responses to complex Medical Information inquiriesSorting of incoming faxes and documents;Filing of source documentationOther tasks assigned by the Manager, as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bilingual, English/Spanish strongly preferredExperience in Drug Safety, Clinical Research and/or equivalent and related experience in the pharmaceutical industryFamiliarity with Adobe Pro an assetCan do attitude, with proven ability to meet strict deadlinesKnowledge of medical terminology is a strong asset

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industryStrong business and financial acumenStrong analytical and mathematical skillsAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingEffective interpersonal and leadership skillsEffective organizational skills; attention to detailAbility to consistently meet deadlinesExcellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficientlyExcellent presentation skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office Programs
