This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. PVT Engineer        
Job Responsibilities                                              
Your specific duties as a PVT Engineer will include:            Compensation (Range):  / hour: $46.00 - 48.00 HR. Rouge Electric Vehicle Plant is looking for an engineer to fill a VESC(Vehicle Embedded Software Controls and Enterprise Connectivity) PVT(plant vehicle team) position with the following responsibilities: • Support Assembly Plants with Quality Related issues (e.g.: FCPA Calls, EOL, etc.) in a timely manner • Manage and Improve main Quality metrics into F01 products and features (TGWs, NPS, R/1000 and CPU) • Represent V80/V85 VFG at various Quality forums, including (but not limited to) BPR, PDQR, AQM, FQR, VQR, etc. • Investigate, pareto and share highest DTC contributors under V80/V85 and its main features • Pro-Actively Drive investigations and take actions to reduce main V80/V85 metrics towards Best-in-Class performance • Perform In-Plant Software Trials • Meet requirements for FTT(First Time Through) on EOL(End of Line) • Timely address any Yellow/Red/Red-Red items on Top#20 Warranty

Job Requirements
As a PVT Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent Ability to understand Customer Issues from around the globe and help Feature Teams in translating into Design and Manufacturing Standards. Understand and apply failure mode avoidance methods including linkage such as Quality History, Interface Analysis, DFMEA, and Design Verification Plan. Knowledge of Robust Engineering Fundamentals including P-Diagrams, Noise Factor Management Strategy and Robustness and Reliability Demonstration. Ability to understand and develop database queries, to root cause performance metric opportunities for improvement on the Connected Vehicle Ecosystems 1+ years of experience in handling Connected Vehicle and Sync related quality concerns. 1+ years of learning/education about and working with: Connected Vehicle cloud-based systems Smart phone Apps Validation Wireless devices and networks Vehicle Telematics Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical Engineering is preferable)
