Volt is immediately hiring for Forge Shaw Shear Operator in Gardena, CA.

\r\n\r\n

As a Forge Shaw Shear Operator you will:

\r\n\r\n

work under direct supervision to prepare slugs for forging. Doing so requires basic competencies with hand tools, operation of saws, and shears in order to produce slugs of proper dimensions. Operator will demonstrate competencies in interpreting work routers and instructions, basic shop math, as well as using hand tools and safely operating power equipment. Typically 0-1 Years of Experience with evidence of past experience working in a manufacturing environment using a variety of shop tools.

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tWork safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.\r\n\tPerform basic tasks such as deburrs forging wrench pad areas as specified on blueprint\r\n\tCan differentiate forgings that need deburring versus forgings that do no\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full time opportunity

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHours are 6:00am – 2:30pm; Monday - Friday, possible Saturday\r\n\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tThe ability to read and write English.\r\n\tBasic hand deburrs tools.\r\n\tBasic stamping equipment operation.\r\n\tBasic shop math & print reading\r\n\tGED or HS Diploma preferred \r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

\r\n\r\n
