Volt is immediately hiring for Hose Assembly in Gardena, California.

\r\n\r\n

As a Hose Assembly you will:

\r\n\r\n

Work under minimal supervision, level one hose assembly mechanics assemble standard hose assemblies, as well as execute inspections and tests per defined quality procedures. Level one hose assembly mechanics demonstrate the ability to use basic hose assembly equipment and standard assembly tools, as well as common precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. They will also demonstrate basic shop math and print reading skills. Typically, 3-5 Years of experience.

\r\n\r\n

This is a full time opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSafely and efficiently operate hose assembly tooling equipment.\r\n\tAssemble hose fittings and assemblies.\r\n\tInteract with production tracking tools such as Avante or E1 to charge time to job orders and claim parts at the end of the shift.\r\n\tPerform SPC as required.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Required Skills:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tThe ability to perform basic to intermediate assembly tasks.\r\n\tIntermediate knowledge of common assembly tools and their uses.\r\n\tA basic knowledge of shop math including fractions, decimals and simple geometry.\r\n\tBasic print reading competencies.\r\n\tA firm understanding of and ability to use a wide range of inspection tools.\r\n\tDAP training\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

\r\n\r\n
