Collins Aerospace is looking for a DT Technician to join our Program Work Environment (PWE) Services team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This position is responsible for supporting, sustaining, maintaining and enforcing Digital Technology (DT) and Security related policies and processes in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agency directives. This position's main area of focus will be performing technical support related tasks on IT systems, such as Windows/Unix clients, servers, operating systems and applications.

**What YOU will do:**
+ You will assist the Cedar Rapids Digital Technology (DT) PWE Services team with configuring, supporting and maintaining associated hardware/software assets in support of DoD programs in accordance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 Security and Privacy guidelines.
+ You will execute routine compliance and sustainment tasks, such as system patching, Anti-Virus definition updates, system hardening, and configuration management.
+ You will partner directly with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain DT system security and compliance posture across Cedar Rapids.
+ You will support in the shipment, receipt, accountability and disposition of hardware and software that is used within the Cedar Rapids classified labs.
+ You will apply troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS)
+ You will provide professional support and customer service to coworkers as well as internal and external customers daily.
+ You will operate in accordance with corporate and division policies and practices.
**Qualifications you must have :**
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
+ Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
+ An active DoD Secret clearance is required
+ Must have experience with Windows and Linux/Unix server and workstations.
+ Must have the ability to achieve and maintain a Secret Government Security clearance.
+ Experience with Windows architecture, deployment, administration, and performance monitoring/tuning
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ An active DoD Top Secret clearance
+ Security+ Certification or ability to obtain one within 3 months
+ Scripting Experience (PowerShell, Ansible, Python)
+ Experience hardening systems using tools like SCAP and following STIGs.
+ Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
+ Critical thinking – ability to solve technical problems independently and with collaborative teams.

The salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
