Job Responsibilities:

10+ years of experience in data engineering. Experience building production data pipelines using frameworks using PYTHON. Develop functionality that spans SQL and Python, mindful of the strengths and weaknesses of both languages and the appropriate handoffs between the two. Perform diagnostics and ad hoc analysis, mostly in SQL, but sometimes Python. Work with engineers, data engineers, product managers, and analysts to operate and continually improve the modeling tool.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in data engineering. Proficiency in data transformation, ETL processes, and data analysis. Knowledge of database management and optimization. Experience building production data pipelines using frameworks using PYTHON. Hands on experience with schema design and data modeling. 3 plus years of experience to common Python packages, such as PySpark. Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational databases familiarity with other data stores such as Hadoop, data stores. Experience with performance tuning data transformations across large data sets Exceptional problem solving skills & Excellent communication skills Understanding of the Agile methodology.
