Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with proven experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Ruby Jenkins GitLab CI/CD setup Database and SQL and Python. Experience in Commercial Lending and Cards & Payments domains is a plus. The candidate will play a crucial role in leading technical projects ensuring high-quality results and driving innovation within the team.

Responsibilities

 Lead the design development and implementation of complex software solutions using Ruby Jenkins GitLab and Python.

 Supervise the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.

 Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.

 Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

 Ensure the integrity and security of databases by implementing standard processes in Database and SQL management.

 Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency to industry standards.

 Solve and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

 Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.

 Develop and maintain documentation for software architecture design and deployment processes.

 Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions.

 Coordinate with team members to ensure project turning points are met and results are of high quality.

 Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote standard processes and technical expertise within the team.

 Contribute to the companys purpose by developing solutions that positively impact society and drive business success.

Qualifications

  Possess strong expertise in Ruby Jenkins GitLab CI/CD setup Database and SQL and Python.

 Have a demonstrated ability in software development and technical leadership.

 Demonstrate experience in Commercial Lending and Cards & Payments domains is a plus.

 Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve complex technical issues.

 Show proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and secure software solutions.

 Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multi-functional teams.

Certifications Required

Certified Jenkins Engineer Ruby Association Certified Ruby Programmer AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Salary and Other Compensation:

Posting End date 09/24/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $ 150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
