Q.A. Coordinator (Assembly)

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The QA Coordinator is responsible to lead the quality department and manage the quality risks on the manufacturing sectors, that the product meets the requirements.

 Influence early development stages to reduce the product quality risks Coordination of all quality activities on the assembly lineCustomer contact on quality manufacturing issuesContinuous improvement of the dept. through establishing and executing the necessary processesAchievement of the goals according the quality master planOrient management team on the main issues or main quality risks.Participate for the dept. (cost-center) budget creation and follow up

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Main responsibility concerning quality department:Continuous improvement of the assembly line, fabrication and incoming issues. Decision concerning product release to be delivered. Define and measure the complex issuesMonitor the implementation and execution of problem solving process.Main interface between final customer (PPQ team) and assembly lineMain interface with internal customers to solve issues on the assembly lineResponsible of corrective action meeting follow up.Support internal product rework or inspectionSupport SQE team in the containment and corrective action implementation for external materialSupport equipment calibration and responsible of calibration executionProvide technical support to the assembly lineMaintain and coordinate good communication with the quality stakeholderCommunicate and participate with other BRP sites for the standardization of good practices.Part of the engineering changes and deviation permit approval processMonitor plant quality performanceFollow up the Balance Score Card metrics and establish the plan to achieve the goals.Participate of the risk assessment identification (PFMEA) and support the actions.Support early development activities with IE and R&DProvide leadership to quality engineers and quality technicianSuccession team planning & trainingDevelop team structures to improve the efficiency of the dept.Generate an innovative environment to motivate the team membersParticipation in teams with engineering and manufacturing concerning continuous improvement projectsPerforms activities related to safety and work place organization
