QA Architect
Position Description:

CGI is hiring highly motivated QA Architect who will have an opportunity to work with top Retail company. This will be a key anchor role with overarching responsibilities in the Platform Quality Engineering team.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• This is a critical role, and you will be working with platform engineering team to help design and develop Automation framework, quality metrics, Test Data management and Performance engineering that will be implemented across multiple IT divisions.
• As a QA architect, play the role of QE evangelist to educate the product teams about the tools and framework usage.
• Play a role of scrum master for Platform quality engineering team and SME in QE emerging technologies
• Customer centric, and be able to lead discussions with product teams
• Work with the centralized team and point of contact for all offshore resources

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Overall 10+ years of experience working in a corporate environment as QA Architect with heavy focus on framework development, tools analysis and implementation
• 3+ years of experience as a QA Architect
• Development skills - Java/J2EE or any scripting languages
• Test Automation Framework development and implementation - Jbehave or Cucumber JVM with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, REST Assured, TOSCA, Cypress
• Experience in performance engineering, tools and process
• Experience on Continuous Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment using various DevOps tools - Jenkins, Groovy, Hermes etc.
• work experience in Agile methodologies and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
• Able to articulate the solution
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $94,400- $165,200.
