QA Architect
Position Description:

Quality Engineering Architect will be working with platform engineering team to help design and develop Automation frameworks, quality metrics, that will be implemented across multiple IT divisions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design and develop Automation frameworks from scratch and enhance as required.
• Develop quality metrics that will be implemented across multiple IT divisions.
• Play the role of QE evangelist to educate the product teams about the tools and framework usage.
• Lead quality engineering scope and discussions with project leadership and product team
• Work with the centralized team and act as a point of contact for all in offshore team

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Overall 10+ years of experience working in a corporate environment as QA Architect with focus on framework development from scratch, tools analysis and implementation.
• At least 4+ years of experience as a QA Architect
• Development skills - Java/J2EE (primary) / any other scripting languages is nice to have
• Test Automation Framework development and implementation - Jbehave or Cucumber JVM with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, REST Assured, Cypress
• Experience in performance engineering, tools and process
• Experience on Continuous Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment using various DevOps tools - Jenkins, Groovy, Hermes etc.
• Proficiency and understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
• Able to articulate the solution
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles
