DevOps Engineer- Annapolis, MD - Hybrid
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical DoD programs. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure within classified environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with DoD systems, security compliance, and modern DevOps practices. This role requires candidates to be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Required Qualifications:
Eligible for TS/SCI clearanceCurrent Security+ certification (must obtain within 30 days if not currently held)U.S. Citizenship requiredOne of the following:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of DevOps experience8+ years of relevant DevOps/Cloud engineering experienceTechnical Requirements:
Core CompetenciesStrong experience with DoD security compliance (STIGs, IAVMs, RMF documentation)Proven track record implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in classified environmentsExtensive experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)Advanced Linux system administration (RHEL preferred)Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform, Ansible)Cloud platform experience (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)Required Technical SkillsGitLab administration and pipeline developmentContainer orchestration with OpenShift/KubernetesInfrastructure automation with Terraform and AnsibleAWS services (particularly within GovCloud)Database administration (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)Elasticsearch/OpenSearch implementationVersion control with GitRed Hat Enterprise Linux administrationSecurity FocusExperience implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF)Knowledge of DoD security documentation requirementsExperience with security scanning tools and remediationKey Responsibilities:

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00
