We are looking for a QA Automation Specialist- Magento who will be performing functional and automated testing for our McGraw Hill International Web Sites. Holding strong experience in PHP as the programming language having worked on Magento. What is this role about? As an Automation Tester you will be understanding the existing automation frameworks, test designing, coding, review, framework maintenance, as well as executing thorough manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and performance. You will work closely with QA leads, test engineers, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders, executing both manual and automated test iterations, tracking/reporting results, troubleshooting, and coordinating defect resolution. What will you be doing? Interact with QA manager and QA/Dev teams to develop a strong understanding of the project, processes, and objectives Communicate clearly to various stakeholders about the status of automation Plan and build test plans and automated tests as needed in consultation with the Web Manager, and the QA lead and other QA team members. Build test plans to validate deliverables from AC (Acceptance Criteria) and assist the QA lead to complete the test cycles Performing end to end STLC and bug life cycle Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate, using JIRA, Confluence, and similar tools Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues identified by automation test runs with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution We are looking for someone having: A bachelor's degree in engineering/technology +4 years of prior experience in quality assurance testing Proven working experience in test automation tools and frameworks, preferably Selenium Very Good programming skills in Java, OOPS concepts etc Released projects on Magento platform Good Knowledge of CI tools such as Jenkins Why work with us?
