Now hiring for a Quality Control Inspector in the City of Gardena!

As a Quality Control Inspector you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPerform a variety of tasks to maintain configuration management control of customer documents and internal documents that support building a customers product; and coordinate the processing of Engineering Change Orders (ECO)\r\n\tPrepare internal engineering change notices (ECN) that correspond to the customer’s ECO\r\n\tECO’s include:
\r\n\ta) Test release and changes
\r\n\tb) Part Number updates and changes
\r\n\tc) Drawing Note changes\r\n\tMaintain and update customer files to include: vendor data sheets, procedures, Gerber files, schematics and revision control of customer documents\r\n\tUpload and maintain bill of material (BOM’s) and issue internal part numbers for internal use by Purchasing\r\n\tResponsible for compiling and scanning work order completion packages (drawings, project documents, Travelers, ECN’s and manufacturing documents)\r\n\tResponsible for ensuring documents are filed correctly on the server in their respective folders to ensure access of accurate documents, and maintain per established procedures\r\n\tMaintain database for approved vendor list (AVL), item master upload for the material requirements planning (MRP) system, reporting of SPC data, assist Quality Assurance team\r\n\tMaintain ECN logs\r\n\tOther duties may be assigned\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a Full Time Opportunity

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPrepare First Article Inspection (FAI) data package in accordance with AS9102 requirement.\r\n\tSummarize SPC data and analyze for trends to support continuous improvement\r\n\tMS Office experience needed\r\n\tArchive production assembly records\r\n\tCoordinates customer, supplier survey with process owners.\r\n\tHelp manage Internal Quality audits schedule and perform audits with auditing team\r\n\tWeekly updates of DMR, CAR, RMA reports\r\n\tMonitoring and follow up on actions of CAR status for completion by due dates\r\n\tGeneral maintenance of QC records including floor data Ex:… ESD checklists, daily FOD checklist.\r\n\tVerify that all assembly drawings used in production match the revision identified on the Traveler and operators understand the notes\r\n\r\n\r\n

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

\r\n\r\n
