**QA Documentation Control Specialist** Manufacturing Compton, CA, US Pay Rate Low: 24 | Pay Rate High: 25 + Added - 13/11/2024 Apply for Job **Position Overview** The **Quality Assurance Documentation Specialist** plays a key role in supporting the company’s regulatory compliance and documentation controls to ensure product safety and quality. Pay: $23-$25/hr **Key Responsibilities** 1. Maintain adherence to Torn and Glasser standards; review, correct, and resolve errors on forms from Production, QA, and Sanitation teams. 2. Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of all forms. 3. Assist QA management in identifying and resolving compliance issues with regulatory documents (FDA, SQF, etc.). 4. Ensure confidentiality and accurate filing of documents. 5. Support third-party audits and assist in customer complaint investigations. 6. Oversee compliance with allergen labeling and production room documentation standards. 7. Ensure adherence to GMP, food safety, defense, and quality regulations, reporting non-conformities as needed. 8. Maintain compliance with workplace safety regulations. 9. Perform other related tasks as assigned. **Qualifications** + **Minimum** : Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field, or equivalent experience; 2 years in food manufacturing with a strong grasp of food safety and regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP, etc.). + Proficient in MS Office Suite; excellent English communication skills (verbal & written). + Knowledge of labeling regulations (FDA, COOL, Prop 65), and experience with nutritional data using ESHA Genesis. + **Preferred** : Bilingual in Spanish.
