Schwab Asset Management Solutions (SAMS) Technology is part of the Schwab Technology Services (STS) organization which is responsible for the company’s use of information technology including all telecommunications, operations and client and business applications.

SAMS Technology is aligned to support the technology needs of Schwab Asset Management (SAMS) which is the investment advisor for Schwab’s proprietary mutual funds, referred to as the Schwab Funds; and it includes Schwab’s exchange-traded funds, referred to as the Schwab ETFs™. With over $370bn in assets under management, SAMS is the 3rd largest provider of index funds and the 7th largest provider of money market funds.

 

 

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

This is a Senior Specialist - Quality Assurance role, with responsibilities including hands-on experience in automation test framework development and automation test case development and maintenance, end to end test lifecycle management including hands on test execution.  

What you have

This role requires a highly motivated, organized, and experienced business focused technology individual with a proven record of software quality assurance experience to a front office investment management business.

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

Senior Specialist Quality Assurance role - 

-  8+ years of hands-on expert level test engineering skills for Services API Automation using C#.NET, RestSharp.

-1-2 years of Schwab Technology Domain experience as a current or recent contractor or employee.

-  Quality assurance experience in Informatica, Secure File Transfer Protocol, Control M or equivalent.  

-  Participate and contribute to requirements gathering and designs sessions to design the test plan and the test cases.  

- User interface automation experience using Playwright.

- Integration testing experience for internal and external APIs, webservices

- Strong knowledge of SQL database and related integrations.  

- PCF or AWS or Azure cloud experience

-  Knowledge of software design patterns and ability to apply then to the right use case scenarios.

-  An agile champion with good understanding of CI/CD. Experience with GitHub or Atlassian suite of products & Jira is preferred.

-  Experience with TDD & BDD is a plus.

-  2+ years of experience in Fixed Income portfolio management and trading processing including optionally Separately managed business workflows.
