**About The Role:**
The Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) works collaboratively with technical and management staff to ensure the delivery of quality software products and services to our customers. The QAE should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team, handling multiple concurrent assignments. Excellent communication, professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills combined with a deep understanding of software testing are necessary for success in the role of QAE.
**What You’ll Be Doing:**
The Quality Assurance Engineer acts as a Subject Matter Expert for various features and/or modules of the product and leads testing efforts for assigned software development and maintenance projects within the organization as part of a defined software development life cycle.
As a QA Engineer, you will be expected to:
+ Assist in the creation and modification of technical documentation.
+ Create and update test plans, cases, data, and scripts.
+ Execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures.
+ Performs regression, smoke, and integration testing.
+ Perform quality checks, including the testing and validation.
+ Reproduce and/or troubleshooting of defects.
+ Document, report, and manage the resolution of defects.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**What We Are Looking For:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in software engineering **or** 2-5 years of software quality control testing field.
+ Competent in software testing theory, knowledge, skills, and tools
+ Experience with change management.
+ Experience with release packaging and deployment concepts.
+ Proficient in understanding written requirements and use cases.
+ Supplementary specifications, and requirements traceability.
+ Experience with issue/defect tracking.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
+ Prioritize workload and deliverables within schedule constraints.
+ Self-motivated, action oriented, and actively pursues opportunities.
+ Excellent communication, professional, and interpersonal skills.
+ Highly committed to the team’s success.
**What Will Make You Stand Out:**
+ Knowledge in testing SQL Server databases.
+ Development and test automation experience is a plus.
+ Experience working in an Agile/Scrum SDLC environment.
+ Knowledge of Cucumber framework using Typescript
+ Exposure to and practical knowledge of Azure DevOps.
