We are seeking dedicated QA Engineers determined to build a successful career in Software Quality Assurance. Bitdefender values its QA teams as critical contributors to the software development lifecycle and appreciates their decisive impact on the success of our products.

Responsibilities:

As a QA Engineer, your role will include:
- Developing, maintaining, documenting, and executing test plans for the Bitdefender Consumer product suite.
- Reporting issues through the bug tracking system and following up on test results effectively.
- Performing tests on builds and adhering to test procedures.
- Conducting root-cause analyses and tracking defect resolutions to completion.
- Researching, recommending, and implementing tools to improve the testing process, product quality, and increase automation.
- Designing, implementing, and executing automated test suites, with a focus on Python-based solutions.
- Ensuring product requirements are consistently met both prior to release and throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements:
- Strong QA skills, including troubleshooting, bug isolation and reporting, and a good understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and processes.
- Scripting experience is required, with a preference for Python, as automation is a key component of this role.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer is a plus.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to contribute throughout the development lifecycle.
- Attention to detail and meticulous execution of tasks.
- Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
- Basic to medium networking knowledge.
- Proficiency in the Windows operating system.
- Familiarity with Sysinternals Suite and debugging is a plus.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- A collaborative team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
