Job Description This candidate is expected to test core components for the Data Warehouse. Work in this role is data intensive and includes understanding of requirements, software development, unit testing, and related documentation , creating meaningful test cases to ensure proper coverage and avoid defects.  Test tableau dashboards (all of the filters and data in the dashboards are correct). Need to understand (go back in the data understand what is going to be there, generate dashboard). What data will fail in the dashboard.  Need to understand if they need to test something on the backend (how to test a package, procedure, what is a sequence).  Manipulate script and expand them  Manual in Oracle (needs to articulate and create scripts, tables)  ETL validations  Evaluate and interpret documented technical requirements and test reports / dashboards provided against the requirements  Testing database software components (procedures, packages, functions, etc.) that meet documented requirements.  Identify functional test cases required to validate software components , execute, and confirm development accuracy against requirements.  Responsible for creating test data to ensure proper testing coverage We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 8+ years QA experience 8+ years of experience with software testing techniques in data warehouse and reporting & analytics  Able to understand / test backend procedures/packages to perform frontend dashboard validations accordingly covering all scenarios Strong experience with PL/SQL procedures, packages (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, etc) Good experience with Tableau and dashboard testing / Reports testing Good communication skills and ability to self-supervise, ability to perform independent research Agile experience Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced environment.
