**Summary:** The Product Quality organization at Meta is responsible for quality improvements to enable great end-to-end experiences for people and businesses.The Product Quality organization is seeking QA Engineering Leads to test and assess product quality for the Meta products As a QA Engineering Lead, you will help shape the future of what we build here at Meta. You will enjoy solving quality challenges for products built with cutting edge and interoperable technology serving 3+ billion people worldwide. You will define test strategies, ensure product correctness for launches, and improve testing efficiency at scale.An ideal candidate will have a background in a technical field, with extensive test engineering experiences. They are a self-starter, detail-oriented, experienced to deal with ambiguity and have a passion for quality. **Required Skills:** QA Engineer Lead Responsibilities: 1. Plan, develop and execute product quality strategies for Meta's products 2. Develop test strategies for business critical projects to ensure product correctness before launch 3. Manage a team of in-house and offshore testers to conduct black box testing 4. Spearhead initiatives that influences engineering organizations to build a quality-driven approach 5. Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of products 6. Identify gaps and opportunities to improve quality 7. Define and implement QA processes to optimize and scale testing within the product 8. Establish and drive the adoption of quality metrics that help measure test effectiveness, efficiency, and overall quality of product 9. Assess non-functional (e.g. i18n, l10n, a11y) product quality in collaboration with other quality focused teams and provide key insights to product teams 10. Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to keep them informed of the quality program's progress and to obtain their buy-in on key decisions. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 11. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 12. Experience of industry standard test automation tools and automation frameworks 13. 6+ years of quality Engineering and/or test engineering experience 14. Hands-on experience with planning, designing, executing tests and knowledge of performance and stress testing 15. Experience implementing and maintaining quality test automation for both mobile and web applications 16. Experience managing black box testing with remote testers 17. Experience in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent coding language **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 18. Experience thriving in an ambiguous environment that demands constant self-prioritization 25. Experience in project management approaches, tools and phases of a project life cycle 26.
