Apply online today! Principle Responsibilities: Enter all QA and food safety data into corporate drives and internal spreadsheets dailySend QA & food safety reports to internal team and corporate teamReport FSIS Non-compliancePresent HACCP/SSOP information to customers and USDA as neededFile and maintain QA and food safety documentsPrint labels for operations as needed and send label proofs to corporateEnter all quality control hold tags into the databaseHelp QA techs by filling in on production floor as neededAnswer phone calls and take messages for all QA linesSubmit micro samples to labGather tare weight information and set codes up in Shop Floor SoftwareBRC Compliance auditing and preparationE-mail certificates of analysis to customersPerform video auditing and annual HACCP/SSOP program updatesReview QA paperwork for accuracy daily as well as previous day’s documents, following up with supervisors as necessaryOther duties assigned Skills: Experience working in food industry with HACCP, SSOP, USDA regulations and GMP requirementsPrevious clerical experience preferredAbove average computer/ten key skillsMicrosoft officeStrong communication skillsRequirements Authorized to work in the USHigh school diploma or equivalent18 years of age or moreAble to work fulltime M-F; Weekends and overtime as needed Working Conditions:Cold environmentManufacturing settingStanding or walking for prolonged periods of timeRepetitive motionUneven surfaces and slippery floors The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; Base salary range of $23.00 entry level The Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
