Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Incoming Inspector in Madison IL

As a Quality Incoming Inspector, you will

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tInspects materials, parts, and complete circuit breakers for conformance with company, Underwriters Laboratory and industry procedures, specifications, and quality standards.\r\n\tInterpret blueprints, symbols and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications for measurement feasibility.\r\n\tPerforms incoming and in process inspection measurements using both complex equipment such as CMM KEYENCE, Vision system KEYENCE, Instron Machine, Optical comparator, and basic hand tools such as calipers, pin gauges, height indicators.\r\n\tPrepares, records, and reports data to Supervisor and/or Engineers.\r\n\tInvestigate and determine cause of defective parts, units, or processes.\r\n\tAdjusts and calibrates test and production equipment.\r\n\tResponds to requests for assistance with quality issues and problems.\r\n\tInitiates disposition of rejected materials, parts, or devices.\r\n\tEffectively use computers, software, and automation systems as required in performance of assigned duties.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Qualifications

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tUndergraduate degree/Higher education.\r\n\tExperience within manufacturing Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.\r\n\tDemonstrated analytical skills with data, problem resolution.\r\n\tExcellent skills in leadership, communication both verbal and written, and attention to detail.\r\n\tStrong desire to work with people, on the manufacturing floor and with customer interface, excellent follow-up, and execution skills.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Duration: 12+ months Ext.

\r\n\r\n

Location: Madison IL

\r\n\r\n

Pay: $23/hr. to $25/hr.

\r\n\r\n

Hours: M-F 7:00 am-3:30

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
