**QA Inspector** Manufacturing Los Angeles, CA, US Pay Rate Low: 18 | Pay Rate High: 20 + Added - 17/01/2025 Apply for Job _Our client, a growing cosmetic manufacturer, is seeking a QA Inspector to join their team in Los Angeles, CA!_ **Pay rate:** $18/ hr.- $20/ hr. **Location:** Los Angeles, CA **Contract Length:** Contract-to-hire; 2 months minimum, potential to stay on longer & convert. **Schedule:** Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3pm **Job Summary:** We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure that in-process, final, and finished goods comply with established specifications, SOPs, FDA, and cGMP regulations. This role involves conducting various inspections, handling non-conformances, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the QA department in ensuring product quality standards are consistently met. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform in-process, final, and finished goods inspections according to approved specifications, following established work practices, SOPs, and FDA/cGMP regulations + Conduct smell analysis, visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and functional tests to assess product conformance + Identify and document non-conforming products or materials + Implement product containment for suspect or non-conforming items and properly tag them for further review + Collaborate with team members to investigate product failures and report findings + Generate and maintain QA reports and records, summarizing inspection and test results + Ensure that all QA documentation (drawings, procedures, forms, etc.) is current, accurate, and complete + Assist with auditing products post-sort/rework and verify that results meet quality standards **Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or equivalent required + Minimum of 1+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in cosmetics, food production, or medical devices + Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills + Knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP practices, and quality assurance processes + Experience in quality assurance within a regulated environment (cosmetics, food, or medical devices) is a plus \#INDBH \#LI-DNP We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
