QA Lab Analyst (Food manufacturing) Manufacturing & Utilities Columbus, OH, US Pay Rate Low: 22 | Pay Rate High: 25 + Added - 25/09/2024 Apply for Job **_We are seeking a QA lab Analyst who is interested in gaining hands on experience performing various laboratory testing on raw and finished products within a production setting!_** **Overview:** The analyst position is key in maintaining the quality of incoming ingredients, in line product, and finished product. This person shall report any non-conformance of finished product to the QA Supervisor or Manager. **Schedule:** M-F 10:30PM – 07:00AM **Type:** Temp-to-Hire **Pay:** starting at $22 an hour (converts at $25/hr) **Specific Tests/Skills:** + Analyze the pH, viscosity, water activity, brix, density, taste, color, texture and appearance of ingredients, in-process, and finished products + Perform titrations to obtain salt, lactic and acetic acid concentrations + Prepare flavors and dyes for ingredients + Inspect production lines and validate integrity of all testing components + Assist in projects involving shelf-life studies and auditing retains **Qualifications:** + Current students pursuing a BS in Chemistry, Biology or Food Science or recent graduate in specified fields preferred. + Laboratory Experience is a plus! + Make and record observations and efficiently organize work tasks and time INDBH \#LI-DNP We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
